A vision for an entrepreneurial university

With the vision of Dr. Danda Raji Reddy, Vice Chancellor, to foster a startup culture within the university, ICORG conducted a series of 3-day workshops for B.Sc. and M.Sc. Horticulture students across all three campuses.

    The three-day framework

Day 1 explored horti-market trends and idea refinement, using the 5 Whys and customer interviews. Day 2 covered horti-tech foundations and business models, from vertical farming to Business Model Canvases with buy-back cycles and government grants. Day 3 turned problem statements into startup blueprints and investor-ready pitches, built with no-code tools and AI.

    The team

The initiative was driven by Suryakamal Bourisetty, Vishnu Chaitanya and Abhinay Tuniki of ICORG, with frameworks and direction from Prof. Muralikrishna Iyyanki, Founder of ICORG and Senior Advisor at UC Berkeley.
